In recent times, however, many of our favourite stars have begun sharing more candid and realistic snaps of their day-to-day.
Over the weekend, Karl and Jasmine Stefanovic managed to deliver both by posting a glimpse from their idyllic weekend on the water.
The couple spent their Sunday in luxurious fashion – enjoying the warm weather and sunshine on a boat.
Karl shared an adorable photo of nine-month-old Harper sporting stylish pair of heart shaped sunglasses.
Meanwhile, wife Jasmine shared a much more candid pic of Harper looking a little less cheery…
“Just loves the sea! #littlemermaid,” Jasmine captioned the hilarious pic of the floaty-clad bub screaming.
Not a happy swimmer!
(Instagram)The celebrity couple have been head-over-heels for their first child, Harper May, since she arrived on May 1st last year.
Just weeks before Jasmine gave birth, the popular Channel Nine personality explained his new daughter would be an expression of the love he has for his wife.
“We [he and Jasmine] do have a very loving relationship and to have a baby as an expression of that love is incredible. It’s never an easy thing and I think that kids are a miracle and we just can’t wait to meet this little girl. Just to shower her with all the love that we have.”
The 45-year-old Today host shares three children with his former wife Cassandra Thorburn – Jackson, 20, Ava, 14 and River, 12.
Harper is the couple’s first child together.

“I am so proud of the strong women around me who support me everyday. My daughter has so many great women to show her the way. She is already my greatest achievement,” the new mum wrote alongside a gorgeous snap.
