Jessica Rowe’s daughter Allegra is the spitting image of her mum as she marks a magical milestone

Every mum will know how Jessica Rowe is feeling today as she marks daughter Allegra’s milestone 15th birthday.

The stunning teen, who definitely inherited her mum’s good looks, is Jess’ first child with husband Peter Overton and brought the couple so much joy when she arrived.

And from the sound of Jess’ gushing tribute to Allegra today, the last 15 years have been pretty wonderful too.

“Happy birthday to my wish upon a star,” the proud mum captioned two photos of her and Allegra with their arms around each other at home.

“Fifteen years ago today you sparkled into our world & life has never been the same. You are brave, fearless, funny & kind. And I’m so lucky to be your Mumma.”

Looking at the photos it’s hard to believe Allegra is only 15, as the smiling teen has already grown taller than her fashionable mum.

Famous friends were quick to comment on the post wishing Allegra a happy birthday and praising the beautiful mother-daughter duo.

Sally Obermeder flooded the post with heart emojis, as did Erin Molan, while Aussie swimmer Stephanie Rice penned: “Two gorgeous girls 😍”

Jess previously opened up about how emotional it is to “let go” of her little girl, who is quickly becoming a young woman right before her eyes.

“I remember being a teenage girl, and I want to help her, protect her, let her go a little bit,” she told 7News in 2020, when Allegra started high school.

“Being a mother, being a parent, is a series of letting go, and you don’t realise – when they are so small, you keep them so close.”

The 51-year-old added that she often takes time during her daughters’ milestone moments to reflect on how far they’ve come and also think about what’s in their futures.

In the meantime, Jess gets to enjoy spending time with Allegra and younger daughter Giselle while they’re still in their teens and living at home with her and Peter.

Her daughters are especially important to Jess, as she went through a long infertility and IVF journey to welcome them into her life.

But more recently the focus was on her relationship with husband Peter, as the couple celebrated 18 years of marriage last week.

“18 years ago today I made the best decision of my life- marrying this darling man!” she wrote on social media to mark the special occasion.

“And today we ‘celebrated’ by scrubbing the fridge for our move!”
