How the Aussie A-list spent Father’s Day

Warning: cuteness overload ahead!

Our fave Aussie celebs were feeling (and spreading) the Father’s Day love on social media yesterday. Many took to Instagram to pay tribute to their fathers, grandfathers, husbands and kids, giving us a sweet glimpse into their family lives and how they spent the special day.

We scrolled through all the ‘grams to find you the most heart-warming Father’s Day shout-outs.

Leading the pack with cuteness overload, was everyone’s favourite Instagram family, the Foster-Blakes.

Radio star and funnyman Hamish Blake posted this adorable video of three-year-old Sonny, with the caption: “My kids are the ultimate double thumbs up every day (they are one thumb each), and their mum is the cheeky wink of my life.”

While the other half of the hilarious duo, Zoë, posted an Instagram shot and “Dad Report Card” for her husband.

The Project’s Carrie Bickmore posted a sweet throwback shot of her partner Chris Walker, with their daughter Evie, and son Oliver, from her marriage to her late husband.

She paid tribute to the men in her life writing, “Happy Father’s Day to all the dads, step-dad’s, grandparents, or whoever you are playing the role of a great dad….you rock and I hope you get some good socks….and to all those who are no longer with us…we miss you.”

Pregnant Aussie supermodel Megan Gale also jumped on social media to show her love and gratitude to her partner, AFL star Shaun Hampson.

In possibly one of the most emotional posts of the day, Home And Away‘s James Stewart shared a precious, black-and-white throwback moment of him and his daughter Scout.

The former-partner of Jessica Marais, captioned the post: “I love you Scout. Thanks for rescuing me.”

All appeared happy and joyful during PR maven Roxy Jacenko and businessman Oliver Curtis’ Father’s Day celebrations, after the couple’s famously tumultuous year.

Enjoying his first Father’s Day since his release from prison earlier this year, Oliver posed with his cheeky daughter Pixie and son Hunter.

The Sweaty Betty director also shared that the family were off to Sydney’s exclusive Catalina Rose Bay restaurant to celebrate the day.

Jesinta Franklin, formerly Campbell, shared a tender moment from her wedding day to celebrate her dad.

“To many more special memories together. Thank you for always being present and supportive,” the model wrote.

Radio star and Home And Away fave Kate Ritchie, blinded us with cuteness with this adorable photo of her daughter Mae and her husband Stuart.

“One of my most favourite moments from the Daddy/Daughter archives,” she wrote.

The bubbly brunette shared a second snap of herself with her dad at Sydney’s iconic Taronga Zoo.
