Here’s how your favourite Aussie celebs celebrated Father’s Day

Carrie’s Project co-host Lisa Wilkinson paid tribute to husband Peter FitzSimons with their children Billi, Jake and Louis before sending a “special shout out” to people like herself missing their fathers that day.

New dad Matty J shared this black and white shot of himself and daughter Marlie Mae captioning it, “And just like that you popped into my life and made me the dad I always dreamt of being. Xxx” Though we love how fiance Laura Byrne commented underneath, “As I recall it she did not just pop out.”

Bachelor winner Laura Byrne also posted a tribute captioning this cute candid shot, “Happy Father’s Day to this magnificent fella. I am happy to report that you smashed your three month probation period with flying colours. You’re stuck with us! Suck it. ❤️❤️”

While we’re on the subject of Bachelor dads, Sam Wood celebrated his first Father’s Day with all three daughters and wife Snezana. Not only was he spoiled rotten, but he declared “Today really was the best Fathers Day EVER.”

“Even in my early years, my dad certainly shaped the person I am today.. he was the best dad to me and @bindisueirwin, and I’ll always look up to him ❤️,” Robert Irwin captioned a throwback picture of himself and the late Steve Irwin. And of course, Bindi posted her own video tribute too.

The Living Room‘s Amanda Keller posted a tribute to her “hero” Arthur and shared a photo from the previous weekend “sharing a wine and a laugh.”
