Bindi Irwin’s daughter Grace, one of Australia’s most beloved babies, has celebrated her milestone first birthday!
To mark the special day, Bindi, her husband Chandler Powell and his parents, her brother Robert and mother Terri threw a birthday party surrounded by animals at Australia Zoo.
The couple shared a video of the event, where little Grace adorably poked at her birthday cake – much to the amusement of her family.
“We’re celebrating in true Australia Zoo style with our khaki crew and our animal family as well… We just can’t take our eyes off her,” Chandler said in the clip.
The 23-year-old took to Instagram to share a heartwarming tribute to her daughter.

“Happy Birthday to my graceful warrior. One year of watching your beautiful heart bloom into the most extraordinary person,” Bindi’s post began.
“Grace, you have been an old soul from the very beginning. It is the greatest blessing to be your mama. I love you eternally, unconditionally and infinitely. ❤️”
Chandler also shared a sweet photo to mark Grace’s first birthday.

Not only is March 25 significant for the Irwin/Powel clan due to Grace’s birthday, it’s also Bindi and Chandler’s wedding anniversary.
The couple tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at Australia Zoo back in 2020, when COVID restrictions hindered them from having large celebration.
Bindi’s mother Terri took to Twitter to congratulate Bindi and Chandler on their special milestone.
“Two years of love, happiness, goals and dreams. It has been incredibly special to see your family grow with beautiful Grace Warrior, and to know that your adventure has just begun. I am so very proud of you both,” she wrote.
The day is even more special special due to the closeness in time between the two events.
Bindi exchanged her vows with Chandler on March 25 2020, at 5:49 pm, before giving birth almost exactly a year later on March 25, 2021, at 5:52 pm – only a three minute difference.
In November last year, Bindi realised the beautiful coincidence while mindlessly scrolling through her camera roll.
“Grace Warrior was born at 5:52 pm on the 25th of March 2021. We just discovered that Chandler and I said our vows and were officially married exactly 3 minutes earlier on the 25th of March 2020. Three. Minutes. This is why I believe in miracles. ❤️” she captioned a post at the time.
