With Wimbledon 2015 kicking off in London this week, we take a lot at the hottest men and women steaming up the tennis courts!

From new kid on the block and resident wild child Nick Kyrgios, who almost took out the title last year and promises to put on another spectacular show.

“Some players don’t really interact with the crowd, they’re really serious. But I think it’s part of my personality. When I go out there, I like to put on a bit of a show,” the 20-year-old Canberra local vouches.

To long-standing champ Roger Federer, who has won a whopping seven Wimbledon Grand Slams and is just as hopeful this year’s tournament will bring him even more success, the lads just aren’t killing it on the court – they’re also pretty smoking to look at too!

The ladies are also hitting endless grand slams when it comes to their accomplishments on and off the court.

We’re seriously crushing over Maria Sharapova’s impeccable style while everyone wants to know if 2014 Wimbledon women’s singles winner Petra Kvitová will keep her crown.

Last year’s reigning Wimbledon champ Novak Djokovic shows us good abs and an even better victory face are all par for the course in the game of tennis.

We’ll be screaming our loudest “Come ons” when Aussie player Lleyton Hewitt makes his final ever Wimbledon appearance this month. Who knows, maybe the 34-year-old will go out with a bang?

“This year, I feel my game is better. I’ve gotten used to the racket,” Swiss player Roger Federer, who is seeded at number two, explains. This will be the 33-year-old’s eight Wimbledon tournament.

Well known for his vast array of bandannas, Spanish player Rafael Nadal has fast become a poster boy for the game.

“‘In sport, the victory is very important. People only remember the victories. Our sport is not a sport of losses. You can lose hundreds of times but the people remember the victories,” 29-year-old Rafael muses.

Aussie wonder-kid Nick Kyrgios became a household name last year when he beat Rafael Nadal at the Wimbledon quarterfinals. Since then, his bad boy antics and colourful on-court tactics have kept him in the headlines.

“It’s amazing to think that I’m now playing my 11th Wimbledon as a professional,” Serbian stunner Ana Ivanovic explains.

Czech player Petra Kvitová has previously taken out two Grand Slams at Wimbledon but that doesn’t help alleviate the pre-game jitters. “The pressure, the nerves are going to be there for sure. Still, when I step on the court on Tuesday it will be the same feelings. It will be very tough and nervous,” the 25-year-old confesses.

When she’s not killing it on the court, Russian player Maria Sharapova is making her mark in the fashion world. “I think my wardrobe really revolves around my travel. I wear a lot of Chloé and Isabel Marant, Rick Owens, Alexander Wang and Helmut Lang,” the stylish star reveals.

“When you’re young and you first win, it’s like, great. You want to go to all these different countries, winning all these Grand Slams, it’s an amazing feeling. But now I still feel that way. I feel just as excited, not more excited, but I feel just as excited,” 33-year-old pro Serena Williams says.

German dynamo Angelique Kerber is a force to be reckoned with! “Other players by now have a bit more respect for me. But I don’t put the pressure on myself. From the outside, I don’t care who calls me a favourite,” she tells of her blossoming career.
