A number of popular Australian wines were recalled after glass was found inside the bottles – a place glass definitely shouldn’t be.

Warburn Estate – the creator behind your favourite affordable brands, Rumours and Gossip, has recalled 13 products from their range via Food Standards Australia and New Zealand.

The wines that have been recalled are:

2017 Rumours:

  • Semillon Sauvignon Blanc

  • Pinot Grigio

  • Chardonnay

  • Sauvignon Blanc

  • Moscato

2017 Gossips:

  • Chardonnay

  • Semillon Sauvignon Blanc

  • Moscato

  • Pink Moscato

  • Dolcetto and Syrah

  • Sauvignon Blanc

2017 Wine Gang Sauvignon Blanc and 2017 Warburn Estate Sangiovese Rose were also recalled.

The popular wines have been available at BWS, Dan Murphy’s, independent liquor stores and hotels nationwide, so make sure you double check your recent wine purchases.

“Consumers should not drink this product and should return the products to the place of purchase for a full refund,” the Food Standards Australia and New Zealand website reads.
