Dug was rescued by his owner, Matt McDougal and together they raise over 200 ducklings on a farm in Canada.
He’s been named Dug, the duck protecting pup and for good reason, as he plays a big part in protecting vulnerable ducklings.
His owner Matt described to Inside Edition, “He was tapped in an apartment in a big city for the first 15 months of his life. He’s come a long way the last 14 months. He’s the boss now and no one screws with his ducks, plus he’s awesome to cuddle.”
The duck-loving farmer even has his own reality show on YouTube called 50 Ducks in a Hot Tub where he films the growing ducks while covering expenses through crowd funding.
