Turia Pitt and fiancé Michael Hoskin's love story is one for the ages.
The couple regularly make our hearts melt by sharing snaps of themselves enjoying quality time with their children Hakavai and Rahiti, but their love story is like something from a movie.
Turia and Michael's relationship is an integral part of Turia's inspiring story of survival.
She often cites Michael's love as what kept her going during her horrific ordeal, revealing he makes her feel like "the luckiest girl in the world."

Turia was born in Tahiti and moved to Australia with her family when she was three years old. Brought up in the coastal town of Ulladulla in New South Wales, Turia met her now-fiancé at school.
Before her life-changing accident in 2011, Turia had landed her dream job at Rio Tinto and had started a new life with Michael. But their world was turned upside down in September 2011.
Turia suffered burns to 65 per cent of her body, lost her fingers and thumb on her right hand and spent five months in hospital after she was trapped by a grassfire during an ultramarathon in the Kimberley.
A former police officer, Michael gave up his job to care for Turia, who overcame the odds.
Speaking to Laura Byrne and Brittany Hockley on their Life Uncut podcast in May 2022, Turia admitted that she felt really guilty after the fire catastrophe because it had "derailed Michael's life as well" so she had tried pushing him away.
"But Michael is the most placid, easy-going, humble bloke that is out there. He'd be there every day, he'd show up in the morning at 7.30 and sometimes I'd be like 'What are you doing here? Go away! I don't want you here!' because I just felt so guilty and I felt like it would be easier for me if I didn't have anyone who loved me."
The inspirational burns survivor told The Australian Women's Weekly: "We all have that inner strength, but rarely do we get the chance to see how incredible we truly are.
"I've had to claw my way back into life - learn to walk, to talk. All the things I had taken for granted before became seemingly impossible tasks."

Turia has gone on to achieve greatness since the horrific accident, all with Michael right by her side.
Chatting to the Telegraph back in 2012, Michael revealed what he loves about her:
"She doesn't want people to feel sorry for her. She just wants to get on with her life," he explained.
"She's beautiful, you know, she's amazing."
"She's got crazy energy. She loves the outdoors, she loves the ocean like I do and we were constantly active together," he added.
The pair got engaged in 2015 but Michael previously revealed to The Weekly that he actually bought the diamond ring when she was in intensive care.
"Stoked to have this beautiful man in my life! You bring out the best in me and I can't wait for the rest of our lives together," Turia wrote on Facebook at the time.
Then, in June 2017, the couple announced the happy news Turia was pregnant - and we were treated to gorgeous bump updates.
Turia said at the time that she hoped to teach her son "resilience" and already knew Michael would be the best dad. They welcomed their first child, Hakavai, soon after and by 2020 they were parents again, welcoming baby Rahiti in February that year.
It's easy to see how much the pair adore each other. Here is Turia Pitt and Michael Hoskin's incredible love story in pictures.
