A notorious rapist whose method was to break into women’s homes with a stocking over his face is finally behind bars.
News Ltd reports that Garth Adam Frank, 46, had been on the loose for 13 years, but was captured after trashing a hotel room in Perth.
Police were called to the scene, and DNA from the hotel matched that found at the rape scenes.
Women told police that women woke to find Frank in their bedrooms, his face horribly distorted by the stocking. He would put a hand over their mouths and threaten to kill them.
He wore gloves, smelt of alcohol, and tried to choke his victims. He has been sentenced to 10 years in prison.
