A man shot and killed his wife and teenage daughter before killing himself outside a public swimming pool in England.
Lance Hart allegedly shot wife Claire, 51, and their 19-year-old daughter Charlotte outside Spalding’s Castle Swimming Pool at around 6pm last night before turning his shotgun on himself.
When police arrived at the scene, Mr Hart was dead and his wife and daughter were critically injured. Despite the valiant efforts of emergency services, both women died.
Police are investigating the incident but have stressed it was not a “terrorist incident”.
Residents of the “very quiet” suburb were shocked by the crime with friends and neighbours describing Mr Hart as “the nicest guy you could ever meet”.
