Kendrick Lamar and Janelle Monae weren’t the only ones performing at the White House’s Fourth of July party!
Barack Obama took to the stage in an attempt to “embarrass” his 18-year-old daughter Malia during the celebrations earlier this week.
“And just because it’s a job of a father to embarrass his daughters, I’ve got one last job,” the President told the audience.
“It just so happens that we celebrate our country’s birthday on the same day that we celebrate my oldest daughter’s birthday.”
Malia didn’t mind being embarrassed by her dad in front of hundreds of people!
He began singing Happy Birthday and the crowd even joined in.
Malia then joined her dad on stage for a hug as the President waved goodbye to the audience and said, “God bless America!”
