There are only 1400 seats on offer, so if you’re looking to make the trip to the beautiful city you’d better get in fast.
You’ll be able to book yourself a $1 ticket to fly between late January and late March in 2018, so you’ll have a whole year to decide what swimsuits you want to pack.
It’s all part of a “Pay to Go, Come Back for $1” promotion. The flash sale begins midday AEST, 2nd of August and runs until midday AEST Saturday 5 August.
In a statement, Tigerair Australia spokesman Joel Dwyer said the deal and others like it coming out over the next month, will be snapped up fast.
“Gather up your loose change for a return flight from one of Australia’s most beautiful destinations, including Cairns, the Whitsundays or the Gold Coast,” he said.

The deal applies to all 23 domestic routes in the Tigerair Australia network and the price won’t cover additional extras.
