Queensland police appeal for help to find missing 13-year-old boy

He was last seen leaving his home for an early-morning bike ride.

Queensland police have appealed to the public to help find a missing boy who has been missing since Thursday morning.

The 13-year-old left his Beaudesert home for an early-morning bike ride but hasn’t been seen since.

His family says he left his home on Tina Street in Beaudesert, west of the Gold Coast, around 7:30am.

Police say they fear for the young teen’s welfare because of how long he’s been missing.

The boy is described as Caucasian, approximately 165cm tall, with police describing him as having a slim build, brown eyes and dark brown hair.

He was last seen wearing a white and black shirt, white socks and black runners, and a Nike camouflage cap.

He was riding an orange/gold-coloured BMX which has both black wheels and handlebars.
