Planned Parenthood gunman was ‘angry’ about ‘baby part selling’

The gunman who killed three people at a Planned Parenthood clinic in the US was reportedly "angry" at the release of secret videos discussing the sale of fetuses.

A man who killed three people inside a US abortion clinic was angry about secret videos that showed Planned Parenthood staff discussing ways to sell the brains and spines of aborted fetuses.

The New York Times reports that a gun battle erupted inside a Planned Parenthood clinic in Colorado Springs over the weekend, leaving three people dead.

One of the victims was a 44-year-old police officer, who was also a champion ice-skater.

The gunman was identified as Robert Lewis Dear.

He reportedly lived in a cabin in the forest and neighbours say that when he spoke, it was often gibberish.

Planned Parenthood is the chief provider of abortion services in the US.

Earlier this year, some of its staff were secretly filmed discussing the sale of fetuses to medical research companies, while eating salad and drinking wine.
