With 24 categories, the clear favourite to sweep the floor is La La Land – up for 14 nominations including Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Director and big mama, Best Picture.

La La Land is hitting all the notes as the most nominated film in Oscar history winning 6 awards out of a soaring 14 nominations!

Best Picture winner Moonlight is a breath of fresh air.

In a terrible mistake, La La Land was mistakenly named the Best Film winner, when in fact it was Moonlight.

The cast of La La Land were only informed of the heartbreaking bungle as they were two minutes into their acceptance speech.
