App tells you if your house is haunted

Homebuyers can search for murders, suicides, suspicious or natural deaths, fires, and meth labs at an address before they purchase the house.

Have you ever wondered whether your house is haunted? Well, there’s now an app for that.

Time magazine reports on the new app and website, DiedInHouse.com that allows homebuyers to search for murders, suicides, suspicious or natural deaths, fires, and meth labs at an address before they purchase the house.

The app was developed by homeowner Roy Condrey who says it can also “help you decide whether you need to be actively worried about ghosts or not.”

Condrey uses information sources from news reports and obituaries, and says his company has built a database of 4.5 million houses where people died.

Reports for a single address start at $US12 and Condrey says he already has 30,000 customers.
