Melbourne mother’s search for missing daughters

Their father allegedly took them from their school in Melbourne

A distraught mother is desperately trying to find her four missing daughters after their father allegedly took them from their school and childcare in Melbourne five weeks ago.

The four daughters – Charity-Beth, 11, Evergreen, 8, Summer, 3, and Serenity, 2 – were last seen by their mother Stacy Smith, 35, on October 27 in Truganina, west of Melbourne.

The mother of four said her estranged husband Joseph Smith – who shares custody of their children – has not been contactable since he left with the girls apart from a few emails, Daily Mail reports.

“I have them during the week and he has them on the weekends. If he was to pick them up, he always rings me but this day he didn’t,’ she told Daily Mail Australia.

“Police haven’t been able to do anything because he is their father,” Mrs Smith said.

“It has just been a nightmare trying to find Joseph. It is heartbreaking and gut-wrenching. I wouldn’t wish this on anyone, not even him.”

The couple ended their 15-year marriage in January.

Mrs Smith has launched a Facebook page in her efforts to find her daughters.
