“Such a beautiful and talented soul:” Stars of Home and Away share tributes to Jessica Falkholt

The 29-year-old sadly succumbed to her injuries after a head-on car collision.

Home And Away actress Jessica Falkholt has sadly passed away in hospital, six days after her life support was switched off following a horror Boxing Day car crash. The accident claimed the lives of her parents Lars, 69, and Vivian, 60, and sister Annabelle, 21, after the family were on their way back home from a South Coast holiday.

A spokesperson for St George Hospital said in a statement: “Jessica passed away from serious injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident on 26 December, 2017.”

On Wednesday, January 10, a joint funeral was held for her family, with hundreds of friends and family paying their respects.

Today, as the news spreads of Jessica’s passing, her Home And Away co-stars have shared tributes to the 29-year-old.

James Stewart, who appeared alongside her on-screen, tweeted: “R.I.P Jessica Falkholt. Such a beautiful and talented soul – taken so soon & so tragically. May you now rest in peace alongside Annabelle, Lars and Vivian. Sending my deepest sympathy to the extended Falkholt family & friends.”

Pia Miller, who starred as Kat Chapman on the show, shared a photo of her on Instagram.

“Farewell, wonderful Jess,” she wrote.

Jackson Heywood shared beautiful words in Instagram, writing that she will be “deeply missed”.

“Jess. You and your beautiful soul will be so deeply missed, but always remembered,” he captioned. “Be with your family now. Goodbye you wonderful person. Love always, Jackson. May we send all support to her family and closest friends who are hurting the most. Thankyou.”
