Explosive claims Russia has compromising intel on Donald Trump

Buzzfeed has published a dossier which makes some pretty sensational (and sleazy!) claims about the President-elect.

There have been rumours that there was some sort of Russian interference in the U.S. election for weeks.
In something that reads like a plot of a Hollywood movie, the FBI is currently investigating claims Russia had compiled information potentially harmful to both political parties, but only released information damaging to Hillary Clinton and Democrats.
The allegations came, in part, from memos compiled by a former British intelligence operative.
Now the internet has pretty much imploded over a dossier Buzzfeed has published which makes some sensational claims about the man who is about to be sworn in as leader of the free world.
It includes unverified allegations that the Russian government has been “cultivating, supporting and assisting” Trump for years. Buzzfeed notes "the allegations are unverified, and the report contains errors."
This is the note Buzzfeed Editor-in-Chief sent to his staff before the dossier was published:
Of course the one part of the document that is going crazy on social media is the sordid claim that Trump ordered sex workers to perform a “golden showers” show [the act of urinating on someone sexually] while in Russia:
“Trump‘s (perverted) conduct in Moscow included hiring the presidential suite of the Ritz Carlton Hotel, where he knew President and Mrs. Obama (who he hated) had stayed on one of their official trips to Russia, and defiling the bed where they had slept by employing a number of prostitutes to perform a ‘golden showers’ (urination) show in front of him,” the report read. “The hotel was known to be under FSB control with microphones and concealed cameras in all the main rooms to record anything they wanted to.”
It claims Russian intelligence officers planned to blackmail Trump with this knowledge.
Commentators on Twitter are currently having a field day with jokes:
The claims completely unverified at present time. And we’re almost certain President-elect Trump will have something to say about them.
More as we get it in this bonkers (but potentially extremely serious) turn of events…
