Channel Nine presenter Samantha Heathwood has revealed she’s been receiving an onslaught of messages that are “verging on lecherous” from an obsessive fan .
The Queensland anchor isn’t worried at the moment, but she’s received around 200 messages from the man, telling her how “hot and sexy” she is.
“I’m finding it quite amusing at the moment, as he appears to be harmless,” Heathwood told the Courier Mail.
“I haven’t replied to the messages, and I’m not heading off to the police station just yet.”

It’s surprising the messages haven’t hit a nerve with Heathwood who’s sadly been the victim of disturbing messages before.
A prisoner in Rockhampton managed to get the journalist’s phone number and began sending “revolting” sexual messages to the young mother-of-two.
She eventually had to go to the police.
But she maintains: “It’s different from when it happened in Rocky. That was getting really awful because he was saying some disgusting things.
“I don’t want people to stop sending me messages, because it’s nice to speak to viewers, but I think there is a difference between a smiley face and something verging on lecherous.”
Hear, hear. It seems some people think it’s acceptable to send someone creepy message, just because they’re in the public eye.
