Police have confirmed missing Sydney teenager Cassie Olczak has been found “safe and well” after she disappeared on Sunday.
NSW Police say she was sighted by a passing motorist on the Princes Highway in Waterfall, and phoned emergency services.
Miss Olczak had returned to Australia on Saturday night after going on a trip to see her father in Abu Dhabi. She has been missing since Sunday.
Her mother had released an emotional plea for her safe return. And there were also reports that she was behaving unusually before her disappearance and maybe had had a falling out with friends.
In a statement, police thanked the Rural Fire Service, Ambulance, Parks and State Emergency Services for assisting in the search.
