realestate.com.au reports out of the ten most expensive houses sold in Australia this year, eight were located in the enviable Eastern Suburbs, with one property in the lower North Shore, and another in Melbourne’s Brighton rounding out the list.

Ranging from $13 million – $39 million, the homes are a sight to behold, and if you’ve got a spare 40 mil lying around, maybe one of them could be yours next year!
