An American woman has been murdered in a mass stabbing attack in Central London.
The victim has been named as Darlene Horton, 64. The SMH report that she was the wife of a US psychology professor.
She was treated at the scene but pronounced dead shortly after.
Two Australians are among the injured, a man and a woman. It is not clear if they are a couple.
Other victims injured in the attack had a range of different nationalities, with people from America, Israel and Britain also caught up in the attack.
The attack was carried out by a young man with mental health issues. Investigators have ruled out terrorism as a factor.
Sadiq Khan, the Mayor of London has issued a statement and said the safety of Londoners is his “number one priority.”
