Warning – the following video is a real-life depiction of graphic violence and may be triggering for some people.

A 24-year-old minor league affiliate baseball player, Danry Vasquez, has been captured on film beating his girlfriend in a stairwell in the US.

Vasquez has been cut from the Pennsylvania team after the disgusting video was made public and the world saw the man brutally assaulting his then-girlfriend in 2016.

In the video, Vasquez drags the woman down the stairs by her hair and repeatedly hits her in the face.

Two days after the attack in 2016, Vasquez was arrested, but his case was eventually dismissed when his partner refused to press charges.

KRIS TV, a news company in Texas, obtained the video and made it public.

They asked the judge why the case was dismissed and were told they had no choice after Vasquez did everything that was asked of him.

Nueces County District Attorney Mark Gonzalez also said:

“It was an assault that occurred; we had all the evidence to prove it we just allowed this individual to hopefully get the training and education so he wouldn’t continue to assault people where he has relationships with.”

While Vasquez stayed with his then-girlfriend for at least two months after the attack, he is now married to another woman.
