How can you not love pancakes, Pippa Middleton?! In a candid new interview, Duchess Catherine‘s sister, 34, dished on her strict diet and revealed pancakes are one morning meal she just won’t indulge in. When asked by iNews what food she’d “never eat for breakfast,” Pippa replied, “Pancakes with bacon and maple syrup – that certainly doesn’t do it for me.” What?!

Although Pippa refuses to eat what is perhaps the most delicious breakfast of all time , she did admit eating a hearty meal each morning definitely helps her keep her enviable figure.

“I always have breakfast. I can’t start the day properly without it,” she said. “My usual breakfast is either plain yogurt with chopped fruit and toasted seeds, oats, and nuts or toasted rye bread with eggs or avocado.”

Pippa revealed she won’t eat pancakes, and now we feel very sad for her.

Eating breakfast isn’t Pippa’s only secret to diet success. In a previous interview, the author revealed she tries to “eat whole-grain, energy-fuelled carbohydrates, and three meals a day.”

She’s also been said to take things to a more extreme level before big events, such as her May 2017 wedding to James Matthews. According to E! News, Pippa followed the SirtFoods Diet before her nuptials to shed some extra weight. The regimen reportedly restricts the number of calories and the types of food dieters can eat while they complete the two phases of the plan.

Phase one is broken down into two parts. For the first three days, dieters are only allowed to consume 1,000 calories a day worth of SirtFoods — which include red wine, cocoa, coffee, kale, arugula, strawberries, and walnuts — in the form of two green juices and one full meal, the SirtFood Diet website states.

From the fourth to seventh day, followers are instructed to increase their intake to 1,500 calories per day and can enjoy two meals and two green juices daily. For phase two, dieters will eat three SirtFood-filled meals a day, plus one green juice for 14 days.

In addition to following a strict diet, Pippa loves to work out! She’s often spotted running or biking around London and enjoys participating in intense skiing events.
