Inside Paul McCartney’s $19.8m penthouse

When you're worth nearly $660 million dollars, a $20 million dollar penthouse is small change, right?

You probably didn’t need another reason to be jealous of Beatles bassist Paul McCartney, but here we are.

According to Page Six, the Wings front man just shelled out $19.8 million for a luxury New York penthouse for himself and wife, Nancy Shevell, and he spared no expense.

The five-bedroom, five-and-a-half bathroom, 800 square feet penthouse caught McCartney’s eye in The New York Times – and not without reason. The apartment comes with marble staircases, gold bathroom trimmings and crystal chandeliers. Not bad at all.

The penthouse is located on Fifth Avenue – and way above our price range.

The apartment has been described as a “glamorous 1960s time capsule with a dash of Hollywood”.

All five bathrooms include marble bathtubs and solid gold trimmings.

Located on Fifth Avenue, the apartment covers 800 square feet.

The penthouse covers the 15th, 16th and 17th floors – plus a rooftop garden.

Not only does the apartment have a marble staircase, but it also has a private glass elevator.

Obviously chasing some privacy, the Beatles rocker will only share the building with 12 other residents.
