Sea Salt and Rosemary and Sea Salt flavoured Kettle Chips are being recalled Coles and Woolworths stores in NSW and Victoria after reports foreign matter was being found in the packets.

Food Standards Australia and the NSW Food Authority announced a food recall alert for the products last night.

In a statement, they explained: “Snack Brands Australia has recalled Kettle Sea Salt and Kettle Rosemary and Sea Salt from Coles and Woolworths stores in NSW and Victoria due to the potential presence of foreign matter (white rubber pieces)”.

Maybe reach for a tub of ice cream instead?

The products being recalled are the Kettle Sea Salt 175g, Kettle Sea Salt 300g and Kettle Rosemary & Sea Salt 175g.

The recalled products have been available for sale in

  • Woolworths (Kettle Sea Salt 175g) in NSW, ACT & Vic.

  • Woolworths (Kettle Sea Salt 300g) in NSW & ACT

  • Coles (Rosemary & Sea Salt 175g) in NSW & ACT

The products can be returned to place of purchase for a full refund.
