With the best in the business helping them achieve towards their goals, celebrities can be absolute style chameleons.
From surgical tweaks that have stars looking like they drink from the fountain of youth to a dramatic new do, iconic looks change faster than the seasons.
When it comes to entire transformations, beloved singer Adele, however, may just take the cake.
After being spotted by fans enjoying herself on the beach in January, she revealed she'd lost a whopping 45kg.
"At first we barely even recognised her because she lost so much weight," 19-year-old fan Lexi Larson told PEOPLE magazine, after meeting the mother-of-one at a restaurant in Anguilla in the Eastern Caribbean.
"She told us she lost something like 100 lbs [45kg], and that it's such a crazy positive experience."
In May, the 32-year-old stunned fans beyond belief when she shared a photo of herself at a birthday event, looking incredibly trim in a black cocktail mini-dress.
While Adele hasn't publicly commented on her weight loss, she did allude to her new, healthier lifestyle on Instagram back in October.
She captioned a photo of herself: "I used to cry but now I sweat."
According to a report in US Weekly, the British singer favours cross-training workouts and Pilates.
"She does 60-minute sessions that include cardio, circuit training, and Pilates ... She's found a routine that's working for her and is enjoying it more," an insider explained to the publication.
Several outlets have also claimed the singer adheres to the Sirtfood diet, which focuses on eating nutrient-rich "wonderfoods" such as cocoa strawberries, coffee and kale. The concept of the diet is based off a book by Aidan Goggins and Glen Matten, who claim these types of foods activate sirtuins, which can kickstart your metabolism and reverse the effects of ageing.
The singer and mother to eight-year-old son Angelo, who she shared with ex-husband Simon Konecki, has since dropped a few images of her new figure.
But, it wasn't until her recent hosting gig on Saturday Night Live this month, her first US TV appearance since the 2017 Grammy Awards, that fans really got a decent glimpse of her jaw-dropping transformation.
The Hello singer revealed on the show that SNL "broke my career in America, 12 long years ago", having first appeared back in 2008 as she was starting out.
