Wentworth Miller

Wentworth Miller has made his first red carpet appearance in more than four years at the 2014 TrevorLIVE LA annual event for The Trevor Project in LA.

It seems that time has stood still for former Prison Break star, Wentworth Miller who hasn’t aged a day since his last red carpet back in 2010.

Wentworth, who revealed he was gay in 2013, was excited to show his support at The Trevor Project’s annual fundraising gala for gay teen suicide prevention group The Trevor Project.

“There has been a lot of love and support from a variety of directions. I feel like I’m more in alignment with who I am. I’m walking my talk and there’s freedom there. There’s joy. They’re doing amazing work,” he said.

“When I got the opportunity to come here tonight to help celebrate the honorees and the volunteers and everyone who has been helped by The Trevor Project. I thought ‘Absolutely, I’d like to be there.”

The 42-year-old actor recently returned to television to play the iconic DC villain Captain Cold, aka Leonard Snart, on The Flash.  He is most recognised for his role on Prison Break with Australia’s Dominic Purcell, who he has since reunited with on The Flash.

He spent the past four years working on his writing, but found it a lonely experience.

“It was getting a little lonely writing in my living room all by myself, it was nice being back on set,” he explained. “I had a movie that just got made called ‘The Disappointments Room,’ with D.J. Caruso directing and Kate Beckinsale starring. But right now for me it’s about the acting.”

The Flash airs Wednesdays on Fox8.
