Steve Peacocke reacts to fiance’s onscreen romance

For most of us, watching our other half make out with another person wouldn’t be easy, but for Home and Away’s Steve Peacocke and his fiancé Bridgette Sneddon it’s just another day at the office.

Bridgette, 27, recently joined the show alongside her hunky Logie-winning boyfriend, who plays Darryl Braxton and is often seen in heavy love scenes with the curvaceous Bonnie Sveen aka Ricky.

The stunning brunette’s character Sophie Taylor, who is the new principal at Summer Bay High and ex-wife of Kyle Pryor’s character, Dr Nate Cooper, has already found herself in some raunchy scenes with her super-toned co-star.

In a behind the scenes interview, Kyle shared just how awkward it can be for the cast while doing scenes with his onscreen love interest as her real life fiancé watches on.

“I was running a scene with Bridge and Steve sat next to me and I had to say to Bridgette ‘You actually look amazing’ and then Steve leans over and says ‘Mate, do you mind.’ That was a comical moment. That broke the ice,” he said.

Meanwhile, Bridgette’s focus is on her performance onscreen and says everyone on set it very supportive, including her future husband.

“Steve always said the entire cast and crew are so amazing, but until you’re actually part of this family, and you’re going to work everyday, you don’t realise actually how amazing it is,” she said.
