Taking to the stage to accept the Silver Logie Award for Best Actress in Love Child, Jessica Marais couldn't quite believe it.
"I really wasn't expecting this," the 31-year-old exclaimed.
It didn't take long for the actress to shift focus to her loved ones, including her daughter Scout Edie Stewart, who she shares with her ex, James Stewart.

"[Thank you to] my beautiful family and my wonderful friends, you know who you are," Jess, who announced her split from partner James last year, explained.
"And I'd just like to say happy birthday to a little lady who's turning four years old tomorrow. Mummy loves you very much," the stunning star added as her former partner James watched on in the audience.
Shortly after her win, her former Packer to the Rafters co-star Hugh Sheridan snapped a touching photo to congratulate his pal.
"My girl Jess won. #jessicamarais #comealongwayfromNIDA #logieawards," Hugh penned alongside a sweet black-and-white snap of the pair.
Meanwhile, James was also at the event and walked the red carpet with his new Home and Away co-stars - Orpheus Pledger, James Stewart, Penny McNamee and Jackson Heywood.
The group will play the Morgan family on the long-running soap.
Since his split from Jess, the 40-year-old actor has most recently been linked to Jessica Nock. Several images of the pair have been shared on social media looking cosy.
Jess and James fell in love after working together on Packed to the Rafters in 2009 and became engaged a year later.
They announced their split in May last year via a joint statement.
“Jessica Marais and James Stewart have amicably separated. Their main focus at this time is the co-parenting of their daughter,” a rep explained at the time.
Sources close to the couple told Woman’s Day that there were “cracks in the relationship for years”, but that in recent months things were become “increasingly toxic.”
