It turns out that while Matt Page and Sasha Bezmel were falling in love on-screen, co-stars Demi and Alec’s real-life romance was blossoming behind the scenes.
In this week’s TV Week, 22-year-old Alec confirms that the pair have fallen head over heels in love with each other and have been dating for months.

“It’s definitely happened over a period of working together,” Alec, 22, said.
“We just clicked.”
The lovebirds, whose characters on the popular Aussie drama are polar opposites from one another, have tried to keep their hot new romance hush-hush for some time now, despite being spotted out and about together on a number of occasions.

“She’s a very creative girl,” Alec added.
“Demi is really fun to work with. She’s very easy going.
“Demi and I have been trying to make Sasha and Matt’s relationship evolve. I think Sasha has definitely matured Matt. He’s gone from being a bully from Mangrove River to being more grown up, which is nice.”
