The honeymoon period is well truly over for newlyweds, Gabi Grecko and Geoffrey Edelsten, who are learning they do not work well together.
The Channel Nine reality show is only two days into filming and already fellow contestant James Mathison is lifting the lid on the unique duo.
“We’re only one hour into a challenge and Gabi Grecko has already thrown her wedding ring at Geoffrey,” the 37-year-old TV personality admitted on-air to Kyle and Jackie O.
This is Geoffrey’s third marriage, but it appears things are already fractured between him and his controversial Mrs.
“Gabi was upset because in one of the of the contents of the containers was my book from five years ago, which she hates,” the 72-year-old Melbournian admitted.
The show is bound to stir the nation with the teams being divided by gender.
Gabi and Geoffrey tied the knot in a low-key Melbourne ceremony back in June.
Joining the newlyweds include a bevy of Aussie talent including former Bachelor Blake Garvey.
Controversial radio host Mel Greig, who infamously posed as The Queen in an on-air “royal hoax” prank, which lead to a nurse taking her own life, has also joined the cast.
Outspoken Real housewives of Melbourne star Gina Liano, former pop star Sophie Monk and presenter James Mathison have also decided to try their hand as business moguls.
While Woman’s Day’s own fashion guru Richard Reid will have to use his prowess for all things stylish and knack for being in-the-know in order to rise to the top on the show.
Celebrity Apprentice will continue to be led by the founder of Wizard Home Loans Mark Bouris, while national treasure Kerri-Anne Kennerley and founder of ModelCo Shelley Barrett will take on roles as advisers.
“This is the type and area of television that I haven’t done before so I’m looking forward to working with Mr Bouris on this show,” the TV legend revealed.
Celebrity Apprentice will air on Channel 9 in September.
