Meet the dynamic mother and daughter duo stirring up the kitchen with the amazing revolution of Thermomix.

For Grace Mazur, a holiday in Poland in 2000 sparked the idea that would take kitchens across Australia and New Zealand by storm.

Fast forward fifteen years and the Thermomix is taking pride of place in more than 300,000 commercial and domestic kitchens.

“It’s been described as one of the biggest kitchen revolutions of the past decade. One appliance that can replace 12 appliances, making everything from pizza dough to risotto, cocktails and pavlova. You can even go back to basics, such as making your own butter” says Grace.

User-friendly Recipe Chips are the cookbooks of the modern world. Once attached to the appliance, the recipes on the chip are shown on the display, complete with nutritional information.

The recipes are selected at the touch of a button and the Guided Cooking feature enables the user to cook delicious dishes and achieve exceptional results by following simple step-by-step instructions.

In Guided Cooking, the time and temperatures are pre-set for each step, so all you need to do is add the ingredients and activate the speed selector.

Grace says 2009 brought one of her proudest moments, when her daughter Bianca Mazur stepped into the role of Executive Manager of Thermomix in New Zealand, when the company expanded across the Tasman.

“To become part of a true family business was, and still is, a dream come true,” Bianca says. “Not only do I get to work alongside mum and dad every day, we’re introducing people to a product that will change their lives for the better.”

As a mother, Bianca knows how precious time can be. Last year, along with her husband Matt, and their son, Phoenix, she welcomed baby Scarlett into the family on Christmas Day.

“With Thermomix I know exactly what’s going into our food,” Bianca says. “This makes Thermomix perfect for those living with food intolerances as it allows you to create additive-free and preservative-free meals completely from scratch, all while saving money on your weekly shop.”

As the company prepares to celebrate its 15-year crystal anniversary, a business that operated out of a home garage in Perth has now expanded to include offices across the country, with more than 3500 Consultants.

“Mother’s Day is a time where we recognise all the amazing work our mums do,” Bianca says. “I’m so proud of my mum, not only for building a successful business, but also for striving to make a difference to families across Australia and New Zealand, and the way they eat.”

“We owe our success to our staff and Consultants, many of whom are mums,” Grace says. “They strive each day to make a change for families by introducing them to a product that encourages healthy living. This is our driving passion.”
