The internet came together to give this couple the best wedding present ever

300,000 people came together to help find the couple in this photograph. Thankfully, they managed to do just that.

Anyone who has ever tried to take a photograph while in a moving vehicle will tell you it is no easy feat. That’s why when photographer Saber Miresmailli pulled out his camera will driving by the London Bridge he was so surprised to look back at his photos from the day and see he had captured a perfect moment in time.

Miresmailli had unknowingly driven by at the exact second a newly married couple were embracing in front of a brightly lit London Bridge. There was no professional photographer directing the couple to be poised a certain way or in a particular light. The couple were merely enjoying a moment in time– a moment Miresmailli unknowingly caught perfectly on film.

Take a look:

The ‘amateur’ photographer posted a desperate plea on Facebook asking the world if they knew the couple pictured so he could gift them the photograph.

“A request to the Facebook Nation. I was on a moving car in London, UK on May 16, 2015 around 8PM when I saw this lovely couple. They were alone and I didn’t see any photographer with them. I managed to shoot this picture with them and the London Bridge in the back ground. I have the [high-quality] picture and I love to find them and give it to them as a gift,” Miresmailli wrote on his personal page.

Next, the internet came together in that incredible way the internet so often does. The image was shared over 300,000 times as people obsessively tried to track down the couple so they could enjoy this memory of their special day for the rest of their lives.

Today Express UK revealed they had tracked down the couple in the viral image.

They spoke to a woman who attended the wedding, confirming the name of the bride was Laura Demack, who works in marketing, and her new husband James Egan, an advertising firm art director.

“Laura and James have absolutely no idea how famous they are back here because they’re currently on honeymoon in Bali,” the friend said.

“I couldn’t believe it when I saw the picture.”

The couple have now touched back down back in the UK and spoken to local news stations about how wonderful a place the internet can be! Watch their interview below:
