If her gym-filled Instagram posts and Snapchat videos are anything to go by, there’s no doubt about it: Khloe Kardashian is one helluva fit-spirational celeb.
In a new interview with Health magazine, where the blonde beauty graces the cover in a red-hot wetsuit one-piece (phwoar!), Khloe admits it wasn’t just her killer training with PT and family friend Gunnar Peterson, but it was down to adjusting her diet,realistically, too.
“I did baby steps,” she says. “I cut out sodas, then I went dairy-free for two weeks, and I lost 11 pounds [4.9kg].”
“I don’t process carbs well after 3 p.m. Kim can eat anything, and I’m like, ‘I hate you.’”
But what happened next on Khloe’s health-filled journey is enough to make you roll your eyes.
According to Koko, when she visited a nutritionist about what steps to take next, “The nutritionist was like, ‘Kim has a body like a Ferrari, and you have a body like a Honda.’”
Khloe continued: “I was like, ‘Yep, that sounds about right. That’s my life – you just summed it up right there.’”
Aside from her nutritionist’s snide remark, it was actually her split from Lamar Odom (the pair finalised their divorce on December 12, with Lamar admitting himself into rehab days later to “focus on himself”) that prompted the reality star to focus her attention on her health and wellbeing.
“I had turned to food and had an unhealthy relationship with food my whole life, and I was like, ‘Food has never helped me lose weight.’

It was then that she decided to join Equinox gym in LA – which she explains was more as an escape from what was going on in her personal life than for weightloss.
“I would go there and put my headphones on and get on the elliptical or the stairs, and no one would bother me or ask me questions … I escaped there, and as a by-product, I started losing weight.”
