During a performance at the Staples Center in LA on Wednesday evening, the mother to one-year-old daughter River Rose Blackstock explained to the crowd, “This is not how I wanted to announce [that I’m pregnant]. My makeup artist is backstage hating me. I didn’t want you to think I’m on pills or something.”
“I would like to apologise to my husband. This was not planned. I’m just so hormonal. Everything is great, I haven’t vomited yet. That’s a win y’all.”
Kelly’s first pregnancy was notoriously difficult with the star ending up in hospital on bed rest.
“I had to take off way more time than normal,” she reflected on BBC’s Radio 1 Breakfast Show.
This is the latest installment of the Since You’ve Been Gone hitmaker’s happily ever after, since she tied the knot with Brandon Blackstock back in 2013.
