It was previously reported that the rapper was planning to leave the health facility on the 28th of November, but that has since been dismissed.
“The doctors said he’s in no shape to leave yet,” an insider told Us Weekly.
“Kim argued he could recover at home, but the doctors just don’t think he is ready. He still needs more time.”
American publication, TMZ first announced that Yeezy’s return home was halted.
“We’re now told Kanye is still not stable and will not be released today,” they published.
Adding, “In fact, there is now no release date set, because he has not recovered from his breakdown a week ago.”
While Kanye and Kim have both remained silent on the matter, those close to the couple have been sharing updates on his condition.
Kim hasn’t left her husband’s side.
Us Weekly have revealed that the 39-year-old had originally wanted to leave the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center on Monday, but doctors told him and his wife that wasn’t advisable.
“They didn’t tell him when yet, but they said they will keep monitoring him day by day,” the insider adds.
Meanwhile a close pal to the family has admitted they’re “taking it one day at a time.”
Just hours after Kanye cancelled the remaining 21 dates of his Saint Pablo tour, the rapper was admitted to hospital following an incident at his personal trainer’s Los Angeles home, on November 21.
TMZ first reported on Yeezy seeking medical attention, claiming he was behaving “erratically” and was “handcuffed to a [stretcher] during the transport to the hospital.”

The health scare was originally believed to be a result of “exhaustion” and “sleep deprivation”.
But new information has emerged, citing a more harrowing reason.
One insider spoke out, claiming Kanye’s downward spiral was in fact triggered by his wife, Kim Kardashian’s horrific Paris robbery.
“He’s been shaken up ever since the robbery in Paris.”
“It did a number on him as much as Kim,” the source explained about aftermath of the reality star’s October ordeal that saw her bound and gagged, threatened with a gun and robbed of millions of dollars worth of jewellery by armed and masked assailants.
“The mere thought that anything could happen to her sent him in a tailspin. He wasn’t sleeping and he was having nightmares about it.”
Kanye’s wants to return home to his children as soon as possible.
One person chatted to People, admitting the famed musician has had a problem for some time.
“This has been going on for years,” they said. “In the past when Kanye seemed to struggle, no one took it too seriously. The attitude was more like it was just Kanye being Kanye.”
Backing up talks of Kim’s personal challenges proving to be a catalyst of Yeezy, they continued, “[Kanye’s] used to leaning on her. Since Kim has had her own issues to deal with, the roles have been reversed.”
“Kanye has had to stay strong to support Kim, and it’s like he can’t handle it anymore.”
Despite her own issues, the mum to daughter North and son Saint, has remained by her husband’s side non-stop.
A friend of the rapper told Us Weekly that “Kim has been amazing. She knew he couldn’t keep going the way he was. She has been by his side through all of this, helping to feed him and lying by his side.”
