Blake Lively is starting her New Year’s Resolution early

“I WILL fit into my jeans again!”

Don’t even bother asking Blake Lively if she’ll be going back for seconds this Christmas – the Café Society star is kicking off her New Year’s diet now!
In a candid Instagram snap, the new mother-of-two, who welcomed her second daughter just two months ago, revealed her goal to fit back into her old clothes following the birth of her and husband Ryan Reynolds’ newest addition.
"New Year’s resolution started early — I WILL fit into my jeans again gall darnet," the blonde beauty captioned beside a very organised snap of her week’s meal plan.
"Thanks @getepicured for making it tasty. This is not an ad. This is me getting it up for healthy food," she added.

Back in August, while promoting her shark thriller The Shallows, a then-pregnant Blake expressed her utter exhaustion at the Hollywood pressures of ‘bouncing back’.
“It’s so unfair though, because it’s so celebrated,” the 28-year-old said in response to a comment on her incredible figure in the film, in which Blake was bikini clad eight months after welcoming her first daughter.
“It’s like, this is what someone can look like after a baby. I think a woman’s body after having a baby is pretty amazing.”
The Gossip Girl alum went on, “You don’t need to be Victoria’s Secret-ready right away because you just did the most incredible miracle that life has to offer.
“I mean, you gave birth to a human being! So I would really like to see that celebrated.”

Revealing her gruelling fitness regime in preparation for the beachy film, the 28-year-old said, "It was like training for a marathon, but a marathon is one day - this was six weeks straight, six-day weeks, no lunch breaks, thirteen-hour days, four-foot waves at all times.”
In light of Blake's positive mission to celebrate women in all their glory after welcoming children, we’ve rounded up the three important ways new mums can take care of themselves after birth.
1. Give yourself some credit
You just welcomed an actual human being into the world. As far as we’re concerned, you are a real life superhero! You've given the gift of life, now it’s time to give yourself some love.
"Stretchies say hi!" Earlier this year, Chrissy Teigen proudly showed off her stretch marks on Instagram, weeks after welcoming her first daughter Luna.
2. Accept and own your changes
Take a page out of Reese Witherspoon’s book, and own those little changes to your body after childbirth.
"I am covered in stretch marks and cellulite but it doesn't bother me at all. My body will never be the same again but I really don't care," the mother-of-three once mused.
3. Hit the gym when you’re ready
Of course, there is no pressure to begin working on your fitness after having a baby, but if getting back into shape is indeed your aim, post-partum fitness options are available.
Doctors recommend easing back into a fitness routine after 6-8 weeks, citing methods such as yoga and Pilates as a great way to rebuild core strength.
See your trusted GP before assuming any workout routines post-birth.
