“I struggle no more…” Oprah Winfrey’s new relationship with her body

After a long-time struggle with her weight, she's finally feeling body confident.

Media mogul Oprah Winfrey has always been candid with the trials and tribulations she’s experienced while trying to lose weight, but it’s her most recent confession candid about her recent weight loss.

In a new interview with The New York Times Magazine, the 63-year-old made it clear that she’s not stopping until she’s in the best shape of her life.

Oprah said, “I can’t accept myself if I’m over [90kg].”

The TV star has dropped more than more than 18kg since teaming up with Weight Watchers.

She opened up about her experience in an interview. “Everybody knows, people who particularly watched the show with me all those years have seen my struggles. I’ve had some struggles,” Oprah said at the time, adding that she’s finally getting in the swing of things. “I can honestly tell you I struggle no more. I’ve eaten everything I love — tacos, pasta. I’ve never felt deprived.”

The best part? Her longtime boyfriend, Stedman Graham, is thrilled about his lady’s recent slimdown. “I’ve lost enough weight [that] he can pick me up and carry me to the pool,” she said of Stedman. “I can straddle him without breaking his back.”

We’re happy to see Oprah in such a good place.

Earlier this year, she opened up more on the battle with her weight. Speaking to Good Housekeeping she said, “I never ever felt a lack of confidence – I felt shame about not being able to conquer what I felt was a disability that I should have been able to control.”

We wonder if her self-dubbed ‘sexy breakfast’ has helped foster this new body confidence.

Making a guest appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, she shared the secret to her go-to seductive meal (scrambled eggs with hot salsa and avocado), saying that it makes her feel good and sexy. (See the video below!)

We’ll definitely be trying that for ourselves…
