Jennifer Garner and other stars who refuse to diet

Jennifer Garner has had enough of strict dieting, wants a life of moderation (and pizza, lots of pizza).

Jennifer Garner has joined a list of Hollywood A-listers who refuse to conform to strict diet and exercise regimes. In an interview with makeup artist Bobbi Brown for Yahoo, 42 year-old mother of 3 Garner spoke about she aims for healthy eating most of the time, but leaves plenty of room for treats because, well, pizza is just too good.

“With food I’m probably good 80% of the time. I’ve found out that I cannot pass up pizza without having some. I just can’t! My kids have a lot of pizza. I can’t go to a kids birthday party without having a slice,” she said.

For Garner, who eats plenty of dark green leafy vegetables, the desire to deprive herself of treats in the quest for the perfect body is long in the past. Extreme dieting, like the one she put herself on when filming the tv show Alias is a thing of the past.

“I mean, believe me, there’s always a point in the fitting where I feel like, ‘Why I didn’t I just try to lose four pounds and then I could wear any dress?’ I just can’t though,” she said.

Right on, Jennifer!

We take a look at other celebrities who have rejected diets in favour of healthy eating, with plenty of treats – and living – still allowed.
