Hearing the words “you have breast cancer” might seem unimaginable, but around one in eight Australian women will face the difficult reality at some point in their life.

When Indira was diagnosed with the disease after a biopsy resulting from a routine mammogram, her reaction was that of many women in her position: “Why me?”
