They may not have found love on the hit dating show, but these Married At First Sight former brides are living their best lives.

Check out some of the most inspirational and stunning weight loss transformations from these past contestants, we are in awe!

Elizabeth Sobinoff, Season 6

Her TV groom Sam Ball shocked viewers when he said he didn’t usually date “bigger girls”, referring to Lizzie’s curvaceous figure.

But in the four months since the show ended, the 28-year-old has completely transformed her weight and life, by dropping “toxic people” and an impressive 10kg.

The blonde beauty revealed she is dealing with health issues – an autoimmune disease – that has seen her weight fluctuate.

“I was actually only a size 10 when I was on MAFS,” revealed Lizzie, who says she appeared larger than she was due to the rest of the cast being significantly shorter.

Clare Verrall, Season 4

On top of regular exercising and a good diet, Clare reveals she had to let go of any ill feelings she had towards the show in order to move on with her body transformation.

“I was still holding on to resentment that Jono [Pitman] and I were both set up to fail on MAFS,” the 35-year-old says. “For a long time I was scared of being vulnerable again.”

In February, the former reality bride unveiled her 50kg weight loss when she walked the runway at the MidSumma Festival in Melbourne.

Lauren Huntriss, Season 6

While most brides thanked diet and exercise for their weight loss, Lauren, 32, implied the show’s demanding needs led to her dramatic weight loss.

“Want to lose 10kg? Go on #MAFS!” the makeup artist quipped on Instagram. But diet and exercise do play a part after all.

“I’ve made a conscious effort to eat a more balanced diet and exercise regularly,” she says. “And I’ve been taking [supplements].”

Jo McPharlin, Season 5

The season’s breakout star was aptly nicknamed Foxy Jojo and now the mother-of-two is living up to her foxy status! Last week, Jo shocked fans when she posted a side-by-side body transformation.

“I’m just a flat-out mum-of-two busy kids, working three jobs and now being a lot more organised with my eating,” Jo says of her slimdown.

“Instead of zipping through drive-through takeaways after work [each night], I make food that I can freeze to reheat easily when I get home.”

Although, Jo admits, she’s still no fan of the gym – or the scales! “I haven’t had scales in my house for over 10 years now,” she says.

Foxy Jojo indeed!

Alycia Galbraith, Season 5

She was one of the most open and honest brides on her season, but Alycia, 30, wrestled with whether to open up about the drastic weight loss journey she’d been on before the show.

“The only reason I said yes to sharing my story is because I was promised it would help people and I really hope it can,” she told her Instagram fans early last year.

“I got rid of anything and anyone toxic in my life, altered my diet and within three months I’d lost 12kg. Over time I’ve lost more than 30kg and now I feel the best I ever have.”
