It was the night of nights for Australian football codes NRL and AFL at their annual Dally M awards and the Brownlow awards.

While the players were being honoured for their great work, it was the WAGS that made the night a glittering spectacle.

Standouts from the NRL Dally M’s included WAG royalty shoe designer Terry Biviano, presenter Erin Molan and Miss Universe Australia stunner Tegan Martin.

Some of the eye catchers from the AFL Browlow’s included red carpet regular Rebecca Judd, Rachael Finch and Jessie Habermann – after all it’s the awards ceremony that brought us Brynne Edelsten’s infamous outfits!

But there was one clear star from the evening – Tessa James.

The wife of NRL’s Nate Miles, made a sensational first red carpet appearance since she was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma in 2014. The former Home and Away beauty marks 12 months since her last cancer treatment and she looks phenomenal.

Looking the picture of health, Tessa was glowing as she poked fun at her husband during the ceremony.

To his friends and fans alike, the Gold Coast Titans player is referred to as melon head. Onstage the brunette was asked if her beau would make a good actor.

“We wouldn’t want him to get a bigger head now, would we?” she laughed cheekily, as Nate chuckled shaking his head.

Dressed in a silk jacket and skirt, she told the Daily Mail that she’s focusing on her health.

It’s lovely seeing the 24-year-old back to her former self, now that she is in remission.

Standing by her NRL hubby, Nate Mile’s side, Tessa was a picture of health glowing on the red carpet in an emerald silk jacket and skirt.

WAG royalty, Terry Biviano gave us a double dose of glamour with hubby, Anthony Minichiello arm-in-arm.

AFL’s Chris Judd and model wife Rebecca are red carpet regulars (who could ever forget THAT plunging red dress that she wore to the event in 2004)! The seasoned player and his Mrs brought a touch of Hollywood to the Brownlows.

Rebecca Judd was a vision in gold thanks to her beautiful J’Aton dress.

NRL Footy Show’s Erin Molan was one lucky lady showcasing some stellar pins in a jumpsuit.
