Nadia Bartel had a twinning moment with Meghan Markle at the Brownlows

It's all in the bling.

We’re still getting over how gorgeous Nadia Bartel looked at this year’s Brownlow Medal Awards as she proved that revenge is a dish best served smoking hot.

Just weeks after her high-profile split with her ex husband Jimmy Bartel, the fashion influencer stunned on the red carpet but one of her accessories looked remarkably similar to one worn by another of our favourite fashionistas.

Taking to Instagram, Nadia shared some behind-the-scenes snaps of her J’Aton Couture gown up close and personal as well as her stunning jewels by Cerrone Jewellers, including a 37.14 carat aquamarine and diamond ring.

While this piece of bling was by far our favourite accessory, as it matched perfectly with her pale blue dress, it made us think of a similar item belonging to Meghan Markle from Princess Diana’s personal jewellery collection.

Nadia’s ring was the ultimate accessory at the Brownlow Medal Awards.

Meghan’s aquamarine ring was one of the late Princess Diana’s favourite pieces of jewellery and the Duchess of Sussex has worn the ring twice so far – once at her wedding reception and the other time to a black tie engagement in Tonga as part of their 2018 royal tour.

While Nadia’s ring cut is more square, we couldn’t help but think that the statement blue ring is the ultimate accessory we need to buy stat.

Meghan’s ring is an emerald cut aquamarine flanked by small, solitaire diamonds and set in 24-carat yellow gold. It’s believed that the ring was commissioned by the late Princess of Wales from Asprey.

British newspaper The Daily Express spoke to gemologist Grant Mobley, who estimated the ring would cost an eye-watering £75,000 today- that’s over AU $137,000!

It isn’t a solitary item though – there is also a matching bracelet that Diana wore in 1996 and most likely now belongs to Meghan as well.
