You might have heard the phrase "fashion is pain", but in Kate Middleton's world, this couldn't be less true.
In a moment that had fashion enthusiasts the world over cherring with joy, the Duchess stepped out in a rather unexpected outfit this week, and it's got us flocking to the shops immediately for a very good reason.
When Kate rocked up to the Chelsea Flower Show in a casual-chic look consisting of a white embroidered shirt and culottes, the clothing alone was enough to have us drooling.
But for many, all eyes were on Middleton's feet - because her shoes only be described as the ideal footwear for the everyday woman.
It's no secret that Kate is a style muse to many, and in fact a number of the outfits she chooses to wear are all but guaranteed to sell out within minutes of her wearing them.
What's more, Kate's been known to set the fashion agenda before people even know it's happening.
And that's why when Kate stepped out wearing a pair of Superga sneakers, fans and followers around the world revelled in the fact that they either already own a pair, or were most likely thinking of buying a pair in the very near future - and why wouldn't they? They retail for under $90 in Australia!

Now we probably don't need to convince you to buy them already, but we'll indulge, because there's two very important reasons why you should invest in these sleek white shoes, pronto.
Firstly, we're pretty sure you'll have noticed the humble white sneaker is having a major fashion moment right now.
Well, unless you've been living in a particularly swampy or muddy or sandy-as far-as-the-eye-can-see location, because white sneakers + mud + pesky grains of sand are not fun.
But that aside, you can't deny the trend is alive and well - even key looks from Mercendes Benz Fashion Week in Sydney this month have been rife with the trend, especially when it's paired with some ultra out-there high fashion.

And the second factor that's sure to convince even the purest of stiletto enthusiasts out there is thus: Sneakers are comfortable.
Yep, comfortable and fashionable - what more could you want?
Plus, you can do really fun stuff in them like Kate did.
