When Prince William and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, visited Pakistan in 2019, one outfit left royal fans in awe.

For an evening reception, the Duchess of Cambridge donned a glittering green Jenny Packham dress and on Thursday evening, the royal style icon decided to don the frock once more.

The event, which occurs every year, is in aid of the Royal Variety Charity, of which the Queen is patron.

Whilst William looked dapper in his suit and bow tie, royal fans instantly recognised Catherine’s gown from her royal tour that took place two years prior.

With her trademark brunette locks hanging loose, the Duchess of Cambridge accessorised her look with a pair of gold Missoma earrings – the same pair that she wore in Pakistan the last time she wore her Jenny Packham creation.

This year has seen Catherine re-wear many of her most memorable outfits from previous years.

When she and William attended the 2021 Earthshot Awards, the Duchess of Cambridge donned a lilac Alexander McQueen frock that she’d previously worn when she attended the 2011 BAFTA Brits at the Belasco Theatre in LA back in 2011.

At the recent Remembrance Sunday service this week, Duchess Catherine also recycled her Alexander McQueen coat that she donned for the 2018 service.

This year’s Royal Variety Performance was hosted by stand-up comedian Alan Carr and featured performances from Ed Sheeran, Sir Rod Stewart, the cast of Matilda The Musical, the cast of Cirque du Soleil and James Blunt, just to name a few.

What’s more, William and Kate weren’t the only well-known faces in the audience.

The Duchess of Cambridge’s parents Carole and Michael Middleton were also spotted sitting close to the royal couple, as were her brother James Middleton and his new wife, Alizée Thevenet.
