Called, E.D. – Portia de Rossi’s nickname for the popular television presenter – Ellen is focusing on women’s and men’s fashion before creating a range of stationery and homewares that will include rugs, bedding and candles.
Teaming up with investor J. Christopher Burch, Ellen told Vogue: “We’re both very, very competitive”.
“When I someday decide to stop doing the show,” she said, “my entire focus is going to be design.”
There’s no doubt Ellen is a savvy entrepreneur, so it will be exciting to see how the collection stacks up against other celebrity ranges.
