The legendary songstress will be stepping in as the fashion powerhouse’s muse for his Fall 2015 campaign.

Announcing the exciting news, Marc took to Instagram and shared a seductive photo of the mother-of-one looking phenomenal in a dark, pleated ensemble complete with black gloves and voluminous hair.

Encompassing everything that screams high-fashion, the singer was photographed by renowned snapper David Sims.

Like us, Marc Jacobs couldn’t contain his glee when the star got on board.

“The amazing and beautiful CHER!” the celeb-friendly designer captioned the shot, before adding: “This is just the beginning…. More to come!!”

Cher and Marc dropped a not-so-subtle hint of their upcoming collab when they attended this year’s biggest fashion event, the MET Gala, hand-in-hand.

And it was a dream come true for the designer. “This has been a dream of mine for a very, very long time,” he told The New York Times about escorting the Oscar winner to the event earlier this month.

“Other boys were out fascinated by other things. I was like, no, I’d really much rather see what Cher’s wearing this week.”

Cher joins a long line of Marc Jacob muses including Dakota Fanning and Victoria Beckham.

Like wine and cheese we think the pairing of Cher and Marc couldn’t be more perfect!
